1. User installs the extension and opens Discord. 2. Extension injects content.js into discord.com pages. 3. On page load, it loads settings from chrome.storage.sync via background.js. 4. Depending on readingMode setting ('auto' or 'click'), it either automatically translates all new messages or waits for user click on translate buttons. 5. Translations are fetched from Google Translate API (translate-pa.googleapis.com) using a hardcoded API key. 6. Translated text is displayed inline in Discord messages. 7. Users can configure settings via the extension popup or options page.
