This Chrome Extension, which overlays a geometric hexagon grid onto any website, was inspired by Struktur (1968), a legendary artist book by Swedish artist Nils Olof Bonnier. It is released to precede a forthcoming facsimile edition of his seminal artist’s book, to be published by LL’Editions in the Autumn of 2025.
Bonnier, who was a member of the artist group Björnligan (The Beagle Boys), had a brief, but poignant artistic career in the 1960’s. His life was tragically cut short, as he disappeared without a trace from a ship between Helsinki and Stockholm, during a trip with Valand Art School to Leningrad in 1969.
Dedicated to Nils Olof Bonnier (1945–1969), whose strong vision lives on through his work. This extension was conceptualized, designed and developed by Lundgren+Lindqvist.
