Keep Awake (Display | System) is an addon that helps you keep your computer's screen (monitor) or your system from turning off without changing the power settings in your machine. The toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch.
This addon has two modes: Display & System. In Display mode, it prevents the screen from turning off. In System mode, it prevents the system from going to sleep. To change the modes, please right-click on the toolbar button and select your desired mode from the context menu.
To work with this addon, simply turn it ON (with yellow toolbar icon) and your screen will NOT going to turn off at all (display mode). This add-on does not change the power settings in your PC/MAC. For example, when you set to turn the screen OFF after 5 minutes while this addon is active, your monitor will not be going to turn off at all.

After installation extension launches as window to their website which has large banner ads at the top of the page which appear to be part of the navigation for the website tricking you to click. Once you click it locks up chrome and launches a bunch of pop-up ads. A legitimate extension would not put its users at risk like that. Do not use.
Works but please add some logic like if audio playing extension on, else off

Keeps my monitor on all the time, while enabled. Windows 10 / Chrome.
I have two external monitors connected to my acer 516 GE Chromebook Pro and using this extension I can't get any of my monitors to stay awake. This extension simply does not work (for me). I was really hopeful it would as it came with very high reviews.
