AI 产品解读Non-custodial Stellar blockchain wallet browser extension for signing transactions and managing accounts
Provides a safer alternative to copy-pasting private keys when interacting with Stellar-powered web applications, keeping keys encrypted locally in the browser
Install extension → Create new wallet or import existing one via mnemonic/secret key → Set local encryption password → Browse Stellar dApps → dApp requests transaction via content script → User reviews and signs transaction in extension popup → Signed transaction submitted to Stellar network

- 目标用户
- Stellar blockchain users / DeFi users interacting with Stellar dApps / Developers building on Stellar/Soroban
- Source files are heavily minified with Sentry debug IDs, making direct code inspection difficult
- Could not verify Paddle is definitively only in the Amplitude analytics bundle vs. actual wallet code
- Background service worker (background.min.js) is 4MB and too large to read in full

The deterministic heuristic detected 'Paddle' and keywords like 'subscribe', 'payment method' in 58.min.js, but this file is actually the Amplitude analytics SDK (external hosts confirm cdn.amplitude.com, api2.amplitude.com, api.eu.amplitude.com). The payment-related strings are part of the general analytics library, not actual payment functionality in the wallet. No 'premium', 'billing', or 'upgrade' keywords were found anywhere. The extension is a free, open-source non-custodial wallet with no gated features, subscription UI, or billing API calls.

- Freighter is a non-custodial Stellar wallet that stores keys locally in the browser. The UI shows local password creation (PasswordForm, EnterPassword, UnlockAccount) and mnemonic-based wallet creation/recovery (ConfirmMnemonicPhrase, RecoverAccount, ImportAccount), but these are local encryption mechanisms — not authentication to a remote service. The store description explicitly states: 'You store, control, and manage your own keys in your browser. We do not store your private keys or account backup phrase.' No server-side account or OAuth login is required to use the wallet's core features.

after last update freighter has become much prettier but much worse in ux. accounts list loading takes eternity (as a result most of the time i cannot even switch my account) and there is no option to switch signer account during the tx approval anymore. please make wallet balances optional in the list at least
awesome
Can you add estimated account balance please ? to make ensure all my balance I need to open lobstr :(
how to delete wallet from freighter .. its so annoying that there's no button to delete.. P L E A S E ADD R E M O V E WALLET F E A T U R E S !
Simple, easy to use, love it
This thing would be _awesome_ except I do not see any way of opening it in a new tab or otherwise making the window persistent. Without this, it means I need to both KNOW and TYPE IN my password to the little google chrome window. If I switch over to my password manager, the window goes away and I cannot get it back. This makes importing other private keys IMPOSSIBLE.
look nice and easy to understand but I prefer to know secret key and keep it with myself too. I know concept is similiar to metamask but metamask have option to show secret key. so I think this will be better to have an option like that too.
The newest version 1.1.2 allowed me to use LITEMINT Beta to bid on NFT's at litemint.com with ease from the browser extension. I use LOBSTR and LOBSTR | Vault for the majority of my transactions but the LITEMINT NFT marketplace doesn't allow those apps to successfully place bids yet. It probably has to do with the IPFS Hash included with LITEMINT's NFT marketplace - which gives one a good idea where Stellar Network is expanding to and bridging next =P Rabat.io already interacts with Web3 but also performs all Stellar Network operations from their chrome extension and the IPFS is basically how NFT's are store that are offered on "Ethereum" - how exciting the future will be. I am thankful for the access to these tools.
Beautiful, easy and by SDF.
