Verto turns everyday reading into an immersive language-learning experience. As you read articles and blogs online, Verto translates selected words directly on the page, letting you learn through context instead of switching to a separate app. This helps you build and retain vocabulary without interrupting your flow.

How to use Verto

1. Open any English article you’re interested in

2. Enable the Verto extension on the page

3. Choose the language you want to learn

4. Use the to set your immersion level (beginners should start around 10%)

Verto was super easy to configure and use on my laptop. I studied Spanish in college and could see how useful this would be for students at any level of language learning from a beginner trying to associate words to a fluent speaker who wants to keep up with their skills. We use our devices so frequently so having built in practice makes studying more approachable. Speaking is huge part of learning a language, and the pronunciation feature helps with that too!

Love this extension! For me it's a fun way of revising words and phrases while casually browsing through articles in spare time, so it doesn't really feel you're opening a textbook to learn a language. It's basically real life usage.

I’m taking Spanish because it’s required for school, but the class is mostly just memorizing vocab and it never sticks. Verto is making this easier by letting me read real articles and learn words through context instead of pure memorization.
