This app is a text-browser Gopher client allowing you to read articles and search for gopher documents.
This app is a free gopher client for browser, You can connect to the gopher server or http(s) web server using this client.
Text-based browser is a tool that this app has provided to convert normal website pages into a plain text output.
Just enter the gopher/http server URL to connect and click the connect button. It is easy to use and very intuitive.
A text-based web browser is a web browser that renders only the text of web pages, and ignores graphic content.
Under small bandwidth connections, usually, they render pages faster than graphical web browsers due to lowered bandwidth demands.

It works, but this does not add the gopher protocol to brave, only accesses through a proxy app which is probably as good as you're going to get with a chromium-based browser.
