this extension worked perfectly fine for me so I don't see what Ulil Shanaya is rambling on about but I guess bro is just running an ahh ad blocker so if this extension doesn't ends up working for you here's the ad blocker that I'm using and the settings I'm running on this amazing extension : adguard(that's the ad blocker I'm using) and for last I use youtube music so for the setting is [Nonstop on YouTube Music] literally the bottom one

One of the few extensions that works. If having the issue of ads being longer, add a ad blocker extension.

Basically, this extension just keeps us interacting with YouTube so it detects activity and doesn’t pause the video. Because of that, after installing this extension, the ads on YouTube feel longer. Ads that used to last only a few seconds now run for several minutes. People who feel bothered will end up skipping the ads manually. And that’s when the activity gets detected by YouTube, so the video won’t pause. So it’s no surprise that this extension only has a 3-star rating. And the negative reviews seem to be hidden by the developer.

Are you kidding me! This is an awesome app! I usually just listen to YouTube in the background, so the audio only option is just great for me. I occationally check who's playing, so I just have to turn on the video play from the extention. The continued play quarantees I don't have to keep pressing the annoying pop-up "Continue watching?" EDIT: when in "Audio only" mode, YouTube gets stuck playing the same video, at least twice. I haven't checked how many times it plays the same song, since everytime it starts playing the same track, I go to youtube and manually click the next song. EDIT: Now it happens also when "Only Audio" is off. YouTube keeps playing the same track. EDIT: This happens when listening to Youtube PLAYLISTs. It doesn't follow the original list order, but instead plays same song twice, then jumps into random song on the playlist. EDIT: I have been using it for over a week, and YouTube does play songs two times in a row. Wonder if it could be fixed.
