Allows users to add torrent magnet links or HTTP/HTTPS torrent URLs directly from web pages to their SonicBit cloud storage account without manual copy-paste.
1. User right-clicks a torrent link on a webpage. 2. Selects 'Add to SonicBit' from context menu. 3. Extension checks for valid login token. 4. If logged in, sends torrent URL to SonicBit API. 5. Torrent is added to user's SonicBit account. 6. User can manage downloads via SonicBit dashboard.

- Cannot confirm if free tier has meaningful limits
- Extension code is minified in some popup files, limiting full analysis of UI logic

The extension itself does not gate features behind a paywall or call billing APIs. However, the destination service (SonicBit) enforces download limits and shows upgrade messages (background.js line 401: "Maximum simultaneous download reach. Please upgrade..."). This indicates the service has paid tiers, but the extension does not directly sell or manage subscriptions.

- The extension requires a SonicBit account to function. The context menu is disabled until a valid JWT token is found in storage (background.js lines 67-83). Login is enforced via OAuth providers (Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and email/password on the destination service my.sonicbit.net (popup/index.html lines 132-167). The extension redirects to https://my.sonicbit.net/login for authentication (background.js line 5).
It's never worked. The most it will do, sometimes, is say you're not logged in, when you are. Most of the time, it just locks up.
Keeps requiring me to sign in again every few days. But when it works it is fine.
make option for default torrent downloader like they have in Seedr.cc
Now it works ever faster than before.
seldom works as it should in chrome just spins arounds saying"getting information"!
SonicSeedBox was a great service, then they changed it to SonicBit, with a new horrendous interface, which is a total and absolute trash compared to SonicSeedBox. The worst thing is that this addon is no longer available on Firefox, making the service absolutely useless at this point.
How do I log in to the extension? Works exactly as advertised although there are no instructions on how to login to the extension. Sometimes clicking on the toolbar icon logs me in, sometimes not. I'm logged in to the site but apparently that's not enough...?
