can you add brave DuckDuckGo and Startpage
Using Brave Portable, it will switch the default search to Bing... INDIA! INDIAN Bing, not my local Bing! And that's only if you have the extension set to "Automatically allow access on the following sites: https://default-search.site/*" so your data is routed through this suspicious site. If you have the extension enabled but disable allowing your data to be accessed by this 3rd party entity which hides its WHOIS data through both CloudFlare and Private by Design, LLC then your searches will default to Google instead (even though Brave Portable only allows Brave Search to be the default search engine). This is a datamining scam and I am reporting it.
I was unable to change my default search engine. This didn't appear to do anything.
thank you so mutch for fixing my issue, instead of google my search engine kept using some sub google company search, this fixed my issue
YES!!! this is it !!! why I've just found this extension !!?? been forced to switch manually in EDGE for a year !!! yup and this extension make it easy to pick and switch to search provider that I want Love !!! IT!!! 10 starts !!!!
It works!! I been using it for a few months its goated , and i have something called searchisty and cause of this extention i can use googles search engine and not searchisty
change google to skyjem which is just google for mobile with fake links. please be careful

Doesn't work anymore for Google after the recent update. You instead get some weird alternate search engine called 'Skyjem' with no photos, and butchered search results. Please fix this ASAP.
