I installed this because Google teased us with the split screen by dragging one tab down and then took it away from us. I read that this extension did the same thing, but it does not split screen by dragging down. Or, if it does I could not find that option.
Bien sûr Google Chrome propose à présent de manière native l'affichage fractionné. Mais le gros avantage de cette extension cependant, c'est qu'elle permet de faire un fractionnement horizontal.
Just what you are missing, it works perfectly, and in a very simple and elegant way. I'd love to have the option to split two selected tabs by their context menu, but I don't think an extension can get that far as of now.

This extension works really well! I’ve been looking for a splitscreen extension for a while, but the others I tried didn’t work properly. This one does exactly what I need, smooth and reliable. Definitely recommend!
