Candidate installs the extension and navigates to hire.glider.ai to take a proctored test. The Glider web app sends a message to the extension requesting screen capture permission. The extension prompts the candidate for screen sharing consent via chrome.desktopCapture. Once granted, the extension monitors tab activity (creates, updates, highlights, removals, focus changes) and reports this data back to the Glider platform. On test submission, the hiring team receives a competency and integrity report with evidence.
