1) User installs eParaksts native application and this extension. 2) User visits a web page that uses the eParakstsTokenSigning API. 3) The page calls getCertificate() to retrieve the user's eID certificate. 4) The page calls sign() with a document hash. 5) The extension forwards requests to the native app via native messaging. 6) The native app communicates with the physical eID card (via card reader) to perform cryptographic operations. 7) Results (certificates, signatures) are returned to the web page.
