Hi Jamie, Thank you for raising this The release notes you've referenced ("Proctoring Integrations - May Release Notes") relate specifically to our new Moodle native plugin — a separate product currently in pre-release — and are not applicable to the Chrome extension reviewed here. We recognise the notes could have been more clearly scoped, and we are reviewing how we communicate pre-release updates going forward. Regarding data security: all sensitive data is encrypted in transit and at rest, validated through our SOC 2 and ISO 27001:2024 certifications. On the tracking concern: the extension checks whether the current page's domain belongs to one of our whitelisted customers — this is a domain lookup only, with no data persistence. Proctoring data is collected solely for configured exams and begins only when the test starts. Data collection ceases once the test is completed or proctoring is stopped. Don't install this, look up Talview's release titled "Proctoring Integrations - May Release Notes" if you need evidence as to why. There are data and security issues associated with this extension and it continues to track you and collect data after use, even when the session has ended. While the May release claims to have resolved some issues, it also details that there are known issues with data encryption (it is currently unencrypted), that data could be compromised, and that this is a known limitation and they will address it in the future.
