Save images in the format you want

This extension adds a simple option to your browser’s right-click menu that allows you to save images in the format you prefer: PNG, JPG, or WebP.

Normally, when you right-click an image in Chrome and choose “Save image as…”, the browser only downloads the image in its original format. Many websites today use formats like WebP, which can sometimes be inconvenient when you want to edit, share, or use the image in certain software.

This extension solves that problem by letting you convert the image while saving it.

After installing the extension, simply right-click any image on a webpage and choose “Save image as JPG”, “Save image as PNG”, or “Save image as WebP”. The extension will automatically convert the image and download it to your computer.

This makes it much easier to obtain the format you need without opening image editors, using external conversion tools, or uploading files to websites.
