IMPORTANT: Enable "ALLOW ACCESS TO FILE URLS" in the extension settings for it to work properly.

Excellent! Unfortunately some bad reviews come from users didn't get they need to allow acess to file urls.

It works for all files with .JPG, .PNG, .PDF, etc,,, which are extensions handled by Chrome !. I expected to see simple .TXT ,,, and any other (B)registered extensions handled by the operating system(-B). Example: I high-lite the above text, in this Chrome window'tab6', type ctl-c to copy, click on window'tab3', type ctl-v to paste the above text into a (UL)voice/text message to another party. Four clicks = Done !

It doesn't function for localhost server directory files. I have xampp and want to utilize the file explorer extension, but it doesn't function when I open the directory with "http://localhost/".
