Browser extension that changes the way you're viewing JSON
Export all table content on a webpage to json or csv in a single click.
Unfortunately, it just lets you download the data, but it's not really about 'viewing' and 'exploring' the data stored in IndexedDB – there isn't any parsing/prettifying logic for stringified JSON data. Basically, everything you see is the same format as in devtools. By 'IndexedDB viewer' I'd expect some rich 'viewing' capabilities, not just being able to download the data. But there isn't even basic viewing capability, except for the essentials (basically viewing at least something). I don't like to rate open-source stuff badly, but this one just doesn't do what it advertises.
It does not find tables belonging to a 3rd party extension (in my case, Pedigree Thief:PT). I am on the web page that PT has access to, and I have years worth of storage that I wish to save. This extension shows the first table belonging to PT, but none of the ones with all the data. I know what tables are there, because the indexDB browser in dev Tools shows me the content of all the tables, but it cannot export them (copy/paste half works, but long lines are truncated with "...", so close to useless except for tiny records).
Works perfectly! Only suggestion would be to provide the JSON as a .json file or CSV as a .csv file (instead of zip) Even better, would be awesome to be able to copy-paste the json from the extension! I'm using this to quickly grab the db and do some checks in the Chrome Console, works great in a pinch!
This is the worst extension on the god damn planet!! Crashed within 2 sec and kept crashing ... the devs of this should kill themselves to have some left respect!!
