This extension will let you do it, and there are more.
You can configure the hotkeys to:
- Close tabs to the left.

yes, it works well, now i can use my left hand to close all other tabs, no mouse movement!
Would be great, but doesn't work. I bound "close right" to option-shift-r and "close other" to option-shift-o, same as the extension that inspired this one, but it doesn't do anything.
Simple, does what it says. Very helpful to manage tabs quickly.
Best one I found. No annoying buttons.
The app is greyed out and not working anymore but it was exactly what i needed. I've already reinstalled it and am still seeing failures.

I have been using the "Keyboard shortcuts to close Chrome tabs" extension for some time, and it has worked perfectly. However, recently I noticed that it stopped functioning as expected. The keyboard shortcuts I set up no longer seem to close the tabs. I have tried restarting Chrome, disabling and re-enabling the extension, and even reinstalling it, but the issue persists. Could you please look into this and advise on how to resolve the problem? I would appreciate any help or updates.
Must have to deal with tab management
