Hello iDavis, Actually, your explanations and websites are quite good; however, what I find completely incomprehensible is the fact that these extensions allow you to do things that are forbidden or strictly prohibited for others. Even if you have special permission or are a member of the Elvenar team, I consider this a glaring contradiction on InnoGames’ part. For this reason, and because someone else implemented this concept long before you did, I’m giving this expansion only one star.
To me, this also looks like a copy of ElvenAssist. It has simply been imitated—one could honestly believe it belongs directly to Elvenar itself. If this is indeed the case, InnoGames really ought to make it officially available themselves, rather than doing so through third parties. I am giving only one star, considering that the idea and its implementation already existed long before this. It would actually be better to give no stars at all, since it was simply copied. The colors may be different, but otherwise, it differs in no way from ElvenAssist—in fact, it’s rather worse. And asking for donations for a free extension is completely out of line.
This provider should be ashamed of itself! This is nothing more than a copy of ElvenAssist. Not only has an idea been stolen here, but this provider is also violating InnoGames’ official guidelines and terms of service! While other players are strictly prohibited from doing this, this provider is allowed to. InnoGames is therefore applying a double standard, and that is a complete contradiction on InnoGames’ part. The InnoGames moderators justify this by saying that this provider creates videos for InnoGames. That makes the whole thing even more bizarre, because InnoGames is contradicting itself—they are violating their own, self-imposed guidelines here! What makes the whole thing even more questionable is the fact that, when you officially ask InnoGames for a statement, not only are the questions deleted, but the players who asked those questions on the relevant platform are also banned. On top of that, this content provider mocks the players who asked a legitimate question: Why is this player allowed to do that and others aren’t? Furthermore, the provider asks for donations for their work, even though neither the hosting nor the tool itself costs anything. The provider justifies this by claiming it’s for server costs, even though their websites and this tool don’t require a server and hosting via Google costs nothing.
A player who boasts about a tool that is merely a copy—and violates every single InnoGames policy. Since when, exactly, has there been an *official* Elvenar tool for the game?
1 Star! Why? Because: "browser extension, created by iDavis". In my opinion, this extension looks like a copy of an existing one. The appearance is different, but it’s an extension—it has the inventory, and you can load the city into the city planner. The creator of the original extension put a lot of time and effort into it, and the “Elvenar Tools” extension doesn’t give them any credit at all. Even the in-game logo for opening the extension is in the exact same spot. It's also misleading to me not to specify that the extension is a fan project (or isn't it?), especially when you're even using the trademarked “Elvenar” logo on the extension. This gives to me the impression that the extension (and the Elvenar Tools) are from Elvenar / InnoGames.—or did it? In my view, “supported by Elvenar” and “by Elvenar" are two different things. I can only give 1 star to an extension that I believe is andoring itself with someone else’s feathers. If I could, it would be none. I’ve removed the extension. @iDavis - Question: ¿Did you really use the publicly available code? And then that: "... created by iDavis."??? "Elvenar Tools - All rights reserved" ??? I just don’t get it! Now elvenstats, too? What's next, iDavis? Is your goal to go from being the creator of a popular fan site to becoming a plagiarist… an imitator? Under the name “Elvenar”? Under their protection and guidance? Aren't you aware of that? EDIT - My opinion is: Those who remain stoically silent have either been muzzled or have no arguments to prove otherwise!
