**This extension is now deprecated, as Reddit has implemented its functionality officially.**
The latest Reddit design does not currently sync to your system's chosen theme. This extension will fix that by automatically switching between light mode or dark mode depending on which one you have selected in your OS.
Please note: I am not the original creator of this code. It was written by Henry Ruben Fischer, who also goes by r0uv3n on github.

Great. Works persistently than Tampermonkey’s Reddit Auto Dark Mode.
Works well. I just had to reload the page for Reddit to get it working after adding it. I also had to disable the Dark Reader for reddit.com.
Works like a charm, the old extension did not work on this version of reddit I guess
Does not work 6/7/2025
Thank God, someone finally fixed the Reddit Auto Dark Mode extension to work with the new Reddit UI. Works out of the box!
