New Adjacent Tab allows you to open tabs to the right/left through keyboard shortcuts, the context menu, and the extension's icon. It does not change or override Chrome's default behavior for opening new tabs.
The default keyboard shortcuts are:
- Alt+T to open a new tab to the right of the current one.
- Alt+H to open a new tab to the left of the current one.
All settings are configurable and are automatically synced across your devices if you're signed in to Google Chrome.

It works!
Works. Thank you
I found recently that ⌘⇧T (Re-open Closed Tab) kept breaking. The menu option was in the File menu, but no keyboard shortcut was shown any more. No extensions showed keyboard shortcuts against the ⌘⇧T sequence. I worked out it was this extension by systematically disabling and enabling extensions and running chrome://restart. I’ve now managed to enable the extension again without breaking the shortcut. The following keyboard shortcuts were set: - Activate the extension: not set - New tab to the left: ⌘H - New tab to the right: ⌘T I’ve tinkered with them each and set them to other things and back. Perhaps that has changed something. It seems like something was in a non-valid state and has resolved itself.
With this new update you broke my extension "Right Click Opens Link New Tab". For now it's open all links in foreground instead of background. When I deleted your extension "Right Click Opens Link New Tab" works as expected.
I loved this extension, but the most recent update seems to cause a lot of weird behaviour during Chrome startup. Whenever this extension is active it seems to cause Chrome to "cycle through" every tab causing potentially hundreds to load all at once. In addition, this extension causes Chrome to no longer remember what tab was previously active per window and tab order can get messed up. It took me a while to trace it back to this particular extension and what a pain it was to get everything back to working order but hopefully it will be fixed.
So far so good. Maybe ignore everybody who's having issues with this. Easy to set shortcuts, just configure it as soon as you get it. Works perfectly.
It does set it's own shortcuts (Alt+T). Unable to set it to overwrite default Ctrl+T
推荐Tab Position Manager
Doesn't work. New tab position logic is the same after installing this ext.
Doesn't do the 1 thing it is programmed to do. Tabs still open all the way to the right and not next to current tab.
