The Smart Invert add-on for Chrome enhances the experience of ZoomText and Fusion software users. It is specifically designed for those with low vision who use screen brightness and color inversion for better visibility. However, such inversions can make photos look like negatives, reducing their appeal and making them harder to view.

With the Smart Invert feature enabled, ZoomText and Fusion's Color Enhancement effects—Invert Brightness and Invert Colors—are smartly managed to maintain the natural colors of photos. This integration ensures photos retain their original appearance, despite the inversion effects.

The ZoomText Smart Invert add-on requires ZoomText or Fusion 2021 or later to be installed and running on Windows 10 or newer.

Once you have ZoomText or Fusion installed and running, you can install and enable the Smart Invert add-on.

With ZoomText or Fusion running and browsing in Chrome the Smart Invert add-on is active. The add-on is inactive without these software solutions running.
