Elite Download Manager is an extension that lets you easily access the download library from the browser toolbar popup.
You can manage all downloads without opening the download tab in your browser. Using this add-on could save you time while you are browsing as it gives you quick access to all your downloaded items from the toolbar popup UI. Please note that what happens in the popup gets updated in the download library simultaneously and vice-versa. There are also several buttons for each item within the toolbar that have a tooltip title and are self-explanatory.

* After last Update (End of 2024): Almost everything below meanwhile supported and fixed! - except the delayed slow loading of the popup window and the filetype icons* Good and useful, BUT: - Popup window loads slow / delayed, filetype icons are displayed delayed - no dark mode yet - no download date, only download time
This is great, it's be even better if it gave some sort of indication of download progress in the icon. Also would love an option or a slightly more minimal download popup.
Stopped working - just blinks circle.
no notify when download started
Not sure why last time i was searching for something like this i couldn't find this one. Been trying to get a Download Manager for eons lol. I used to have an extension that allowed me to see in different colors each type of download, with time left and speed% of downloads, was able to remove from list each file separately. Unfortunately that extension go MIA when chrome updated how extensions work :( But here we are, found this love it haha. More people should use it is a lot easier than the regular bar that comes with chrome (which actually sucks -__- ). Suggestion for the dev, could you make JUST A LITTLE BIT bigger the icons? maybe have the option to select if have them the same size as now or get it bigger (as i want, cause would be easier to see them lol, using bigger resolutions make icons get smaller T_T ) and also perhaps make an option so we can select color of each type of downloads? Like for example make text of documents blue, while images green, and rars purple or something like that. I know that at least the 2nd suggestion would me a lot of changes to the coding but i pretty sure that will also be more attractive than it is already. Anyway thx for this great extension and i really really hope u continue updating it when it's needed. Great job!! Cheers.-
Popup opens very slow
