Before using this I used Bitwarden which would probably be my second choice had Proton Pass not existed Checks all of the important boxes for me: Free Forever Tier (Great for most people) Multiple devices Account logger with Random Password generator Email Aliases Good Mobile app
Proton Pass “ROCKS” As with all apps in the Proton Suite, Proton Pass is a must-have. After 45 years as a self-employed systems administrator, I have tested a plethora of password managers. Everyone, apart from Proton Pass, simply fell short. Some weren't cross-platform; others lacked the ability to sync several devices, keeping everything up to date. A couple crashed after or during import(s). Proton Pass doesn't require users to carry around an additional piece of hardware, which ends up being another item to lose, or more likely, to fail at a critical time. Obviously, it is crucial that the producer of whatever password manager is chosen be trustworthy beyond question. I have complete trust and confidence in Proton AG. You will be hard pressed to find a business that has earned a better reputation than Proton AG. Not just an opinion, it's a fact!
