Absolutely the coolest way to get news, stock & weather updates EVER. I used to love watching those mechanical split-flap displays in airports and train stations (yes, I’m old) and this extension recreates that perfectly, including the sounds. The only issue I had is the settings button is kinda hard to see (it’s top-right on the screen) so it took me a bit to find but once I did, I was amazed by how customizable this is. This definitely beats the horizontally scrolling weather & news I used to use.

Perfect ambient dashboard. It gives me a quick 10-second glance at tech stocks and Hacker News when I open a tab, without sucking me into a rabbit hole of mindless scrolling.

Clever and Fun app with a playful aesthetic. Reminds my of a flip board in my friend Robert Hume's man cave. So many toys in there.
