Alexii is an AI-powered legal research assistant for CanLII. Open it as a side panel while reading any case on canlii.org and get instant, citation-backed analysis.

FEATURES:

Chat: Ask questions about the case you're reading. Every answer includes clickable citation badges that jump to the exact source paragraph on the page.

Case Brief : Generate a structured brief (Facts, Issues, Reasoning, Holding) with one click and download it as a formatted Word document (.docx).

Passage Lens: Classify every paragraph by its role in the judgment (Fact, Issue, Reasoning, Holding, Obiter, Citation) with a color-coded overlay on the page.

Counsel's Notebook: A cross-case research journal. Save passages from multiple cases, organize with tags, and use AI to synthesize connections across entries.
