On YouTube click the "+" button to get a preview of the description of the video.

Change the text that shows and hides the description preview to whatever you want it to be by clicking on the description preview icon in chrome when on youtube.com.

View full descriptions with API implementation. Create your own API key (directions here: https://github.com/despreview/Youtube-Description-Preview) and view full descriptions on videos before you click on them.

Note: This feature requires that you make your own API key due to restrictions. You can still get a small preview of the description without an API key.

Permissions:

declarativeContent: Needed to detect if you're on youtube.com.

The whole point is to view description below video thumbnails on the homepage. I do not see it.

I love this extension but it re-arrnges my YouTube player buttons to the right side for some reason, and my search button at the top of my YouTube page is smaller than it should be, other than that I love this extension. Oh would be sick if you could view descriptions from the recommended video sidebar too!! And when you search for vids

when i click on the extenstion it doesnt show me a menu to put the api key in pls fix edit: i restarted chrome it works now
