Protopage is your own personal start page.
It can import news headlines from almost any web site. Read your own selection of news and blogs, keep bookmarks, to-do lists, sticky notes, and much more.
This extension gives you quick access to your Protopage, and lets you easily add news feeds and bookmarks to your start page from any site web site that you are visiting in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
This extension does not disclose your web browsing activity in any way to any party, and is never transmitted outside of your computer. This extension is designed solely to give you easy access to your Protopage start page and to help you add bookmarks and news feeds to your Protopage.

I love it! It is simple, it works well and it has more than enough features to use. The best browser start up page I have ever used so far.
A great option to create your own personal Opera Home Page with your favorites, most visited and useful websites all within one click reach.
I moved over from Opera to Brave and was offered "Protopage Start Page". I did not know this was available; not sure it IS available in Opera. Very nice. I like that I can "add bookmarks" and "add all open tabs..." as I start my WEB sessions with the same open tabs which I inadvertently close every once in a while.
I've used this for years. Dependable start page to link favorites to.
Everything works as expected. Organizes everything from within Google. Just made it part of my startup tabs. I have no issues. I really like it so far. Security? I won't store passwords there because I have no clue where this data is being stored and who has access to it, but I guess you could say that about any organizer. Best I've tried so far. Mike
It only works when I hit my home button in chrome. I want it to also be my New Tab page...
Can't import bookmarks - and I have a lot! Adding them one at a time will take forever so I will continue to use igHome as my main feed page.
absolutely LOVE this start up page. I have tried almost everyone out there and this by far has them all beat!!!!! Thank You Protopage people
i use Yahoo but I am sick of all the sex and Kardashian, and other trash that is there. They never change the top story. I used this a couple of years ago and it disappeared one day and I found it again today So Happy
It was good, but now isn't displaying the page at all in Google Chrome, apart from the banner ads. I've added nothing else to Chrome, it's just stopped working all of its own accord - and you can't contact the company, or Google so far as I can see, in any way that will resolve the issue.
