Web Archives is a browser extension that enables you to find archived and cached versions of web pages. Searches can be initiated from the context menu and the browser toolbar.

A diverse set of archive and cache sources are supported, which can be toggled and reordered from the extension's options. Visit the wiki for the full list of supported search engines.

PRO TIP: search for a link without visiting the web page by right-clicking on the link and searching from the context menu.
A handful of search modes are offered that serve different use cases. The search mode can be set independently for the context menu and the browser toolbar from the extension's options.

Excellent! It works as expected. Recommended.
Not very useful if you want a recently cached version (of the last few days or weeks) of a page. Since Google and Bing stopped providing this, this extension doesn't offer for most pages a valid alternative.
love it :D
I'm happy with the overall simplicity and functionality of this extension, which I use a lot, so I have some feedback: When the user clicks the Web Archives extension, the current page's URL should autofill, or at least have that option. If users want to input a different URL into the extension, they'd simply replace the auto-pasted one. Lastly, a (Dev) question: Based on the last Git update from Nov-2023, you hit v5.0.0. Does that mean extension development reached a finishing milestone or will you continue to develop? New websites, that'd benefit this extension, are still popping, so I hope of their future Web Archives incorporation.
Thanks for this great extension. Is it possible to add search.brave.com search engine to the list?
