That Cool Widget is a lightweight Chrome extension that keeps your music within reach no matter what tab you're on. It works with both YouTube Music and Spotify, so whichever one you're listening to, the widget picks it up automatically. Once a song is playing, a compact floating player appears on every page without you having to switch tabs or break your flow. In vinyl mode you get a spinning record with a tonearm that moves when you hit play and lifts back when you pause, with the album art sitting right in the centre of the disc. Flip to bar mode for a slim minimal pill that stays out of your way. Either way you get full controls: previous, play/pause, next, a like button, a queue browser to jump to any song, and a playlist launcher so you can switch up what's playing without ever leaving your current tab. You can drag the widget anywhere along the screen edge, snap it left or right, lock it in place, resize it, pick an accent colour, and set it to follow your system's light or dark mode.
