WaterlooActuallyWorks (WAW) improves the University of Waterloo WaterlooWorks experience by streamlining job browsing, making posting details easier to scan, and adding quick navigation + shortlisting tools that fit the way students actually use the site.

Key features

- Redesigned job posting view: a cleaner, more readable posting layout with key details surfaced (Duration, Location, Compensation, Deadline) and core sections (Job Summary/Description, Responsibilities, Required Skills).

- Keyboard navigation: move through postings with Left/Right (or A/D), shortlist/unshortlist with Up (or W/S), and close with Esc.

- Shortlisting that works with WaterlooWorks folders: star indicators in the job list and in the posting view; choose a default shortlist folder from the extension popup (separate handling for Full Cycle vs Employer-Student/Direct).

- New-posting visibility: highlights “NEW”/recent postings in the job list so they stand out.
