If you hate it when you accidentally middle-click anywhere on a page (other than a link) and your mouse arrow morphs into a circle icon that scrolls the webpage nauseatingly up and down with a wave of your mouse, this extension is for you! I want middle-click to open links in tabs, and that's it. BTW: Like other extensions, for security reasons this will not work on this Chrome Web Store page, or internal pages of settings in the browser.
This used to work, but it no longer does...
This Chrome extension turns off the autoscroll function that is activated by pushing the mouse roller button in the Chrome browser. When activated scrolling switches from the mouse roller to mouse movement. It is very frustrating when you try to click on a link and are just a little off and autoscroll turns on and you move your mouse and the screen scrolls like crazy. This extension turns it off but still allows the center roller button to work on links and buttons. It works great, I highly recommend it for those who never want to use autoscroll. It is easy to toggle it on and off in the extensions page if you want to use autoscroll.
