Tired of having a hard time looking for the tab that has the playing icon to go to the thing you were watching or listening to?

Sometimes you have lots of tabs open and finding the tab that's playing can be a hassle.

This Chrome extension solves that problem by allowing you to go to the tab that is playing audio by simply clicking a button or with a keyboard shortcut.

Simply click on the button in the toolbar and you will go instantly to the tab that is playing audio.

It works with different windows too. You can be in Window A and if something is playing in Window B, Window B will be focused in the playing tab.

By default no keyboard shortcuts are specified, to set them go to Settings -> Extensions -> Keyboard Shortcuts (it's at the bottom).

Absolutely 5 stars. I use this app everyday. I am a software developer and often create my own tools like this but yours is nearly perfect. One suggestion that I could make is make it 110% perfect would be a "Go to last playing tab" shortcut. Often times my tab stops playing and I need to go find the next media to play. You could do it like this: In the background service worker, listen for tabs.onUpdated and track when a tab's audible property transitions from true to false. Store that tab's ID as lastAudibleTabId. Then expose a second keyboard shortcut (or fall back automatically) so that when no tab is currently audible, the extension switches to that last-known tab instead. Something like: tabs.onUpdated -> if tab was audible and now isn't -> save tab ID as lastAudibleTabId Then on the shortcut command: First, try to find a currently audible tab (existing behavior). If none found, fall back to lastAudibleTabId (if it still exists). Ideally this would be a second shortcut like "Go to last playing tab" so users can choose which behavior they want. But even just falling back automatically when nothing is currently playing would be a huge improvement. Would make this extension way more useful for people who pause their media and want to quickly get back to that tab. Thanks for the great work!

Stupid Vivaldi after update now not possible to see which tab audio is going so this extension great for automatically redirecting to that tab.

Sehr gute Erweiterung. manchmal suche ich mich dumm und dä... wenn ich zuviele tabs auf hab. Schafft abhilfe. Einfach draufklicken und Tab wird geöffnet. Danke an den Entwickler

Doesn't do anything on Edge. Several tabs are opened (some youtube, some not), only one youtube video is playing. If I switch to one of the random tabs and then clicking on the extension icon nothing happens. Sad...... On OperaGX it works like a charm but I never use that browser.

A life-saver. Used it for zillions of tabs over the years to find that pesky tab that suddenly starts chiming in (invaluable when you restart your browser.) And even works on the Orion Browser, which is why I'm finally writing a long-overdue review.

It does what it says on the box, although it would be much better if it could take you go BACK as well. I'm working on a document with a bazillion open tabs, I want to pause the music, it takes me to that tab... now I have to find the one I was at. I wish I could just click it again to return to where I came from.

Quite simple and effective! I even checked, launched a video in a group of tabs and collapsed the group by clicking on the plugin button, it immediately opened the group and pointed to the target tab. and when several are playing, it goes through each one
