Fork of "vx-twitter" addon found here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/vx-twitter/

This was done due to recent changes in Twitter's structure causing that add-on to cease functionality.

Add-on that replaces "Copy Link" option on Twitter with "Copy Embed", which links to the user's chosen redirect domain, allowing proper media embeds on platforms such as Discord. Also includes a hotkey (ctrl+c) to embed while focused on a tweet.

Replace Twitter/X 'Copy Link' button behavior to copy an embedded tweet URL instead of the original tweet URL

When sharing tweets on platforms like Discord, the original x.com/t.co links don't embed as rich previews. This extension rewrites the copied link to use third-party embed services (vxtwitter, fxtwitter, etc.) that generate proper embeddable URLs.

User visits x.com, clicks 'Share post' -> 'Copy Link' (or presses Ctrl+C on a tweet page). The extension intercepts this action, transforms the x.com URL into an embed URL (e.g., vxtwitter.com/status/123), and copies it to the clipboard. User pastes the link elsewhere and it renders as an embedded tweet preview.
