I have issues with Youtube also turning Video Previews back on EVERY time I turn it off. This is the only ext of this kind so Let's install this, and i'll update the review in a couple days. Update: Works great. I no longer have to deal with Youtube turning video previews back on behind my back. Update 2: Works on Homepage. Not on recommended sidebar. (June 2026)

This does not work, you can also just do this in settings. You only need to select "Settings," followed by "Playback and performance." In the "Browsing" section and disable the "Video previews" option.
