eCourt Kokua Multi-Tool

The extension helps attorneys to expunge criminal cases and generate the motion to recall bench warrants from Hawaii's eCourt Kokua website. This extension should only be used by attorneys and may give incorrect answers. Please always do your own analysis to determine eligibility.

Expungement:

When you load up a case on eCourt Kokua simply click the chrome extension icon and click "Evaluate Case". The extension will analyze the case you're currently looking at determine if the case is eligible for expungement. You can add multiple cases and when you're done click "Generate Documents" to generate the expungement petition form, a summary of what cases were analyzed, and the letters to the court requesting to remove the case from eCourt Kokua after the expungement has been granted. You can now also click "Overview Page" when you're on the page with all the case numbers and it will automatically check the cases for you. You should still click through each case to make a determination for yourself that each case is eligible or not eligible.

Bench Warrant Recall:

When you load up a case on eCourt Kokua simply click the chrome extension icon make sure the tab is set to "Warrant Check" and then click "Evaluate Case". The extension will determine if there is an outstanding warrant. Before generating the paperwork, you will need to click the "Set Attorney Info" link and add your information. Finally, click the case number link in the extension window, and click "Enter Recall Details". Fill out the reason for requesting a recall. After that you can click the generate documents button and the motion to recall will be generated. You can now also click "Overview Page" when you're on the page with all the case numbers and it will automatically check the cases for you. You should still click through each case to make a determination for yourself that each case is eligible or not eligible.

When you are finished click "Clear All Clients". To protect client confidentiality, all data is analyzed and stored locally on your browser.
