I’ve always been a bit afraid that someone might be watching or listening through the internet. These days, you never really know what websites are doing. I used to just turn off the camera, microphone, and those pop-up things on every site — just in case. But then, when I actually needed them, I couldn’t remember how to turn them back on. Always clicking around in the wrong settings. My son installed this thing called Futureproof, and it’s been really helpful. Now, when I open a website, a little box shows up on the side, and it tells me what the site can use — like camera, microphone, or those notification pop-ups. If something’s on and I don’t want it, I just click and it turns off. No need to go into any confusing menus. It’s just easier now. I don’t understand everything, but at least I can see what’s going on and fix it if I don’t like it.
