So useful! Finally could stop youtube music from showing up in my chrome history so I could get to my normal history easier.
Can break things in unexpected ways! It's some beautifully simple Javascript, and I can't fault the author for this, but I ripped my hair out for hours. I tried disabling history on a local dev environment / home lab that can absolutely fill the history with useless garbage. It appears to that blocking history can really mess with some web apps and cause them to lose their state information and break some flows. You might see getting sent back to the wrong 'screen', not saving, etc.
Excellent extension. I unpacked the code and it does exactly what the author states and there is no data collection or sharing. I found that I'd often start typing in the address bar and the autocomplete would send me off track, so this is an extremely handy tool for improving productivity.
Great app to prevent social media from using your history to feed you with more junk content, especially with YouTube. Works great!!!!!
This is just what I was looking for. I use Chrome to check enterprise emails and there were tons of thousands of unwanted entries in my browsing history which was un-necessary clutter. This extension makes it so much easier to block in chrome history, unwanted/un-necessary websites. Install was a breeze and it works PERFECTLY well. Definitely a 5+ rating. Thank you so much for making everyone's lives a lot more easier.
One of the best extensions ever! Ever since a few months ago Chrome has been cracking down on 'unsafe' extensions, my previous extension which did the same thing became no longer available. After so many months of struggling, I finally found this and after using it for the past 24 hours, can confidently say it is one of my top 3 extensions I have ever used. So easy & simple to use. Highly recommended!!!
