Allows to read the track information from streaming websites, and feeds that into the Abelssoft Recordify program.

Recodify was developed to record music from music streaming services in high quality. The software also offers the option to record as „Stereo Mix“ : With the additional recording function "Stereo Mix", you can also record anything else that is being played on your PC speakers.

This extension is a companion extension to the Windows Desktop-Application "Recordify" from Abelssoft.

Enables the Recordify desktop app to identify and capture currently playing tracks from streaming services by scraping track info (title, artist, album, artwork, playback position) from the browser

1. User installs Recordify desktop app on Windows and this Chrome extension. 2. User opens a streaming service web player (Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, Apple Music, YouTube). 3. Content scripts injected by the extension scrape track metadata from the DOM every 125ms. 4. Scraped data (title, artist, album, cover art, playback position, duration, service name) is sent via chrome.runtime.sendMessage to the background service worker. 5. The background worker POSTs the data to localhost:60023 and localhost:60024. 6. The Recordify desktop application receives this data and uses it to identify and record the currently playing track.
