FeelingWise is a Chrome browser extension that quietly rewrites manipulative posts on social media before your child sees them. It runs on X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

WHAT IT DOES

When a post or comment matches a known psychological-manipulation pattern — fear-appeal, shame-attack, scapegoating, body-comparison, false-urgency, parasocial-coercion, hyperreal-trauma-bait, and 14+ others — FeelingWise rewrites the text in-place to a neutral version. The original is preserved in a tamper-evident audit log on your device. Your child reads a calmer version. You can review what was flagged from the parent dashboard.

It also detects: sexual content, graphic violence, self-harm references, drug promotion, and slur-level extreme toxicity.
