One word: AMAZING. On the suggestion of my young sister, I normally buy stuff on Shein because they are cheap. But I'm shocked to see how bad they are for the environment. Never again. Seriously, I'm gonna share this extension with her and her friends. In Italy, we care a lot about product transparency and origins; with fashion, you don't even think about it. I was surprised that I could find a real alternative to a pair of trousers I like. So, I ended up buying them on Afends. Same shape and colour, but the model is even sicker! Can't believe this works for real. It also gives you the chance to discover new brands. I love it! Only one little thing they can improve: there is a button to amplify the pop-up window. I wish it was more visible because it's very useful.

Really cool tool and basically what anyone doing online shopping needs in order to know what they are buying into! SHADE really helps to know when a brand is just green washing and when they are actually up for some sustainable practices, and ON TOP OF THAT the magic wand tool which helps to find alternative products in the same style but in a higher sustainable rating is a musthave! really helps cut down the time of additional research after finding a look you actually like. Really recommending and using myself every time!

Such an amazing tool - I would 10/10 recommend this extension! In the past five years I have wanted to shop more responsibly but felt like it was a time consuming task. This plugin is amazingly designed and my shopping behaviour has changed drastically because the following reasons: 1. It is automatic. Over the years, I have tried many different ways to nudge changes in my shopping behaviour but they all ultimately failed. I believe it was because the previous attempts did not truly embed in my shopping behaviour. SHADE automatically popping up every time I go on a shopping site has made this nudge so natural and embedded in my browsing behaviour which I believe is the biggest reason why it has worked so well for me - just over the weekend, SHADE has nudged me away from buying fast fashion goods and instead decide to go with some high quality and sustainable options! 2. It is educational. I have learned so much about sustainable brands and have realised how green-washed I was. I am an average consumer who is always open to make more sustainable options when presented to me, but I am also not the type to thoroughly validate the claims made by the brands. SHADE truly helped me to understand and be more careful with brand's marketing scheme - making me a better educated consumer. 3. It suggests alternatives. SHADE did not leave me stranded by simply saying "Oh, don't buy this because it is not good for the planet" - instead, it leads me to better and more sustainable options. It is so easy to make excuses to shop fast fashion goodies because I could not find any alternatives very efficiently. Sometimes I just settled with less sustainable options to save myself time and energy from searching for the more ethically made options. SHADE's suggestions and magic wand have made it so easy for me to find sustainably made goods that look just as great and higher quality! I 200% would recommend anyone to use this plugin if you browse and shopping on the web regularly! I wholeheartedly believe it will make you a better educated and more sustainable consumer!
