RapidIdentity Password Vault web extension is designed to provide an SSO experience for applications that utilize user provided credentials. When a Password Vault application is launched from a user's dashboard, this extension is able to automatically fill in previously captured credentials to log users quickly and securely in to their online resources.

PLEASE NOTE: Your school or organization must have RapidIdentity for this extension to work.

User logs into RapidIdentity portal, which provides a JWT token and session data. Content.js then locates the login form on the target page (searching password fields, username inputs, and submit buttons across DOM, iframes, and shadow roots), fills in the credentials, and optionally submits the form. If credentials change, the new values are captured and posted back to the API.
