Simple Time Tracker - application for easy and FREE (no subscription, no credit card required) time tracking of tasks in the browser running in the background.

TrackTime is a clean and intuitive Chrome extension that allows you to easily track time spent on tasks right in your browser. With its simple yet powerful timer interface, you can time multiple tasks simultaneously and see where your time went each day.

The extension runs silently in the background, so you can start timing tasks with a single click and stop them just as easily when you are done. The main pop-up interface shows all running timers along with their elapsed time and task name. You can edit timer names or quickly delete timers as needed.

TrackTime takes the headache out of manually tracking your time and gives you insight into where your hours are actually spent. Give it a try for a more productive you!

"Hi, I really liked the previous version of the extension; the only thing missing was a daily time total. However, the new version is quite inconvenient and difficult to use. Would it be possible to publish the old version as a separate extension?"

Новое обновление сделало расширение крайне неудобным, начал искать новый трекер. Во-первых, не удобно копировать время, нужно заходить в настройки задачи для этого. Во-вторых, чтобы сделать ресет нужно нужно нажимать еще на одно окно, что капец как неудобно. Что есть те люди которые долго хранят данные в расширении? В-третьих, слишком большие буквы, много пространства занимется, чтобы увидеть все задачи нужно листать. В четвертых, сама панель вызывается теперь не как поп-ап, а как чуть ли не отдельная вкладка, нужно нажимать еще раз на значок, чтобы убрать эту панель. Приложение стало с претензией на что-то крупное, а не действительно симпл тайм трекер.

I like how simple it is. Perfect for a single day. Could I request a setting for dark/light theming. Perhaps with the standard light/dark/match system options.

I love that it's super simple. That's what I was looking for. There was an expectation that it would work across devices logged into the same browser profile. I don't see any mention of that here, so that was just my assumption. Doesn't detract from the quality of the product but for my workflow it kind of makes it not very useful.

I used this extension for years and it was okay. Today all my data were deleted suddenly for no reason. I don't have a back up and I regret using this extension. I don't know what I should do now.
