Warning: This Extension May Be Malicious – Read Carefully I want to warn everyone about a serious issue I experienced with the “Navigate Rewards” browser extension. One day, I noticed that something was running silently in the background. When I checked, I found a hidden tab open with the following suspicious message: Processing… Do not close the tab, a process is running. This tab will automatically close once the process is complete. At first glance, it looks harmless—but it’s not. The extension had secretly opened Amazon and was trying to place orders without my knowledge or consent. I investigated using browser tools and confirmed that this activity was triggered by the extension itself. When I logged out of Amazon, the behavior stopped. Once I removed the extension, it never happened again. This was clearly an attempt to manipulate my session and possibly make unauthorized purchases.
