1. User navigates to any web page and clicks the extension icon. 2. Content script (cs-page.js) scans all <a> tags on the page. 3. For each link, the extension sends a request (via background service worker) to check HTTP status codes, classifying links as good/broken/unverified. 4. The popup widget (widget.html) displays real-time progress with counts for working, broken, and unverified links, each split by follow/nofollow and internal/external. 6.
