They just took my money. (Obsolete / Outdated)!!!! It doesn't copy on any direction, PC to Mobile or Mobile to PC. Looks like Google have another system to send messages and this App is using the old way Google send messages. ------------------- From their website: Will it store my clipboard? No. All of the clipboards will be just sent through Google Cloud Message immediately and no copy will be stored. Please try Clip Stack if you want to store your clipboard history locally. It is full free and even does not have network permission. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also Clip Stack is not able to install on any of my devices. -------------------- From Google: What Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) was for Push notifications: Delivering notifications to users without them having to open an app. Data synchronization: Notifying an app that new data is available to be fetched from the server. Direct data transfer: Sending up to \(4\text{KB}\) of data directly to an app, useful for instant messaging. Real-time updates: Refreshing the current state of a game or a list of shared photos. The transition to Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Deprecation: GCM was deprecated and replaced by FCM in 2019, with the official Google Cloud Messaging website now pointing to FCM as the successor. Cross-platform: FCM is a cross-platform service, supporting Android, iOS, and web applications, unlike GCM which was primarily for Android and Chrome. No code changes required: Developers who were using GCM could continue to send messages using the new FCM endpoint, as existing GCM tokens are interchangeable with FCM tokens. There's nothing in the Chrome extension when something is clipped. So when I clip something on my phone, where does it go on my computer? Do I need another clipboard manager that keeps a history of clips? Apparently you have to have Clipstack on your phone to keep a history.
