If I increase the speed over 1.8, it seems like the first word is barely pronounced, and it does this regardless of the punctuation. I'm using onnx kokoro. I also don't know exactly how to change the kokoro voices, instead of using the default. Also I think the readme, options page is a little confusing and could use some work. If you can make the

It would be nice, if there was some explanation how Piper voices can be added. I tried adding en_GB-jenny_dioco-medium voice listed on Piper's huggingface (rhasspy/piper-voices) by copying over the download links but nothing plays, when I have this voice selected. Below is the configuration I tried. I wish it was possible to control the text being spoken through keyboard - i.e. I'd like to be able to move to prev/next sentence by only using the keyboard same as I can pause/play with the spacebar. I've seen such feature in another extension "Read aloud with auto language detection" and it makes things a lot more convenient!

This extension works with my preferred browser, Brave and it is outstanding. It works on every website, and it is not intrusive. I have it set up so that if I double click with the shift held, it starts reading, highlighting text as it goes. No big text boxes covering the page, just highlighted blocks. I would be willing to pay a one time fee, a few dollars, for additional voices.

works great, but Cons: - Sometimes not sure how to turn this thing on - Cannot stop it, but can only pause. I use space to type stuff. but when i start typing (and type spacebar) it activates the shorcut of the extensions to play, so i cannot type. - took a while for me to understand the UI (apart from the problem above)

I want to use it as a language learning tool, when I click and drag to highlight a word/sentence I want the tts to say it back, is it possible? thank you for the wonderful app!
