Before installing Marvelous Suspender, Google Chrome was consuming nearly all available memory on my Mac, even with 16 GB of RAM and only a single Chrome browser window open. Gmail, in particular, seemed to be a major resource hog. Since installing Marvelous Suspender, I've noticed a significant improvement in overall system performance. The extension automatically suspends inactive tabs, reducing memory usage while preserving my browsing session. What I appreciate most is that it's far more convenient than closing tabs or restarting the browser. Instead of shutting everything down and later having to log back into websites and recreate my workflow, I can simply restore suspended tabs and continue exactly where I left off. That convenience helps me stay productive while keeping memory usage under control. Overall, Marvelous Suspender is an excellent tool for anyone who relies on memory-intensive web applications or works with many open tabs. It has made my browsing experience more efficient and provides a much better alternative to closing and reopening the browser whenever performance starts to suffer.

I love the new Marvellous Suspender because it preserves the original experience I valued: tabs are replaced with lightweight placeholders that I can click to restore. It also supports manual and automatic suspension while working smoothly in Edge. I can also export my windows and sessions between browsers very easily. Keep up the good work!

this extension has been good, but im considering leaving it because there is a bug where all of the tabs in tab groups get lost on browser restart (which ik has been reported in github already) edit: i just realized that what i just said is a bug that affects all suspender extensions

From 4+ GB of ram use to 1 GB on average, this app is a game changer. I didn't have to change my way of using my browser at all, reloading a page takes a second at best so it doesn't really interrupt my day to day use. And you can whitelist websites you don't want to suspend so it doesn't mess with websites you know you prefer to keep open. I only wish i knew about this sooner

Whenever it crashes (which has been a few times in recent months), it deletes all suspended tabs and they are not recoverable in browser history. Took me a while to figure out it was this extension causing my tabs to vanish. (And make sure to unsuspend all tabs before turning off or removing extension, because it will delete them in that case too.)
