can the opened tab be beside the originating tab? it opens a tab at the far end of all my tabs and once self closed the last tab at the end of tabs is the one that takes focus instead of bringing me back to the originating tab.
Sometimes it does not work, still opening a new window. In this case I have to close the window and try again and then it works, opening a new tab only.
