This extension connects websites, such as speechlive.com, with Philips dictation hardware like Foot controls or SpeechMikes. Among other features, it allows using the buttons of Philips dictation hardware to control Philips SpeechLive (e.g. the webplayer, recorder or Speech to text).

Please note: This extension only works in conjunction with the Philips Device Connector native host application!

ISVs can use Philips Device Connector as a library to add Philips dictation device support to web apps. Please follow the guide linked below for further instructions:

This is awful! I'm trying to work and I have no foot pedal! I just signed onto Google and did ht e whole login, password and verification and it still doesn't work!!!

I should not have to disconnect my foot pedal and then reconnect it when I log in every morning. If I happen to log out of Chrome during the day - I have to go thru the entire process all over again. So frustrating. Need a fix for this ASAP!!!!

Every time I log in, I have to reinstall the extension before my foot pedal will work. Very time consuming and frustrating to have to do this every time.

Install this and you'll never have an issue with connecting your footpedal again. Always connected - even if the browser is minimized ;-)! Great job!

Absolutely perfect for supporting Philips dictation hardware to work in SpeechLive. Persistent connection and freedom to have browser minimized while working in other application during playback or recording.
