Extension Preflight Receipt creates a local, shareable checklist before you install a browser extension. Open an extension listing, click the extension, and it tries to capture visible listing signals such as URL, title, publisher, user count, rating, update date, permission wording, and privacy wording. If the store page blocks direct reading, paste the visible listing text and create the same receipt manually. The receipt flags broad permission wording, sensitive access terms, missing publisher/update fields, and reminds you that badges are not proof of safety.
